Housing, Accommodation & Support Options for NDIS Participants

Future Planning for Leaving Home: Exploring Housing and Support Options

Thinking about moving out of home is a significant step, and for people with disability, it’s important to explore the full range of options to find what’s right for you. If you or your family are starting to plan for the future, this event will offer valuable insights to help you understand what’s available and what to consider when making decisions.

Join us for an informative and interactive session hosted by Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College (HKCC), bringing together leading organisations in the disability sector to help you navigate the different NDIS housing and support pathways — including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)Supported Independent Living (SIL), and Individualised Living Options (ILO).

This event is perfect for NDIS participants, families, carers, and sector professionals looking to better understand their options, meet trusted providers, and discover services that promote independence, choice, and control.

Presenters include:

  • IntroConnect — A small, independent, NDIA-registered Support Coordination business helping participants exercise choice and control through education, connection to supports, and genuine community engagement.
  • Hireup — Australia’s largest NDIS-registered online platform connecting people with disability (and older Australians) to trusted, employed support workers. Hireup also offers Individualised Living Options (ILO) to help design and implement tailored living arrangements.
  • CatholicCare, Diocese of Broken Bay — Providing disability services and accommodation to over 400 NDIS participants, including day programs, SIL accommodation, in-home supports, and Support Coordination.
  • Good Housing — A registered SDA provider creating smart, healthy homes designed to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of tenants, with a focus on independence, dignity, and comfort.

Tickets available for both online and in-person at HKCC at Hornsby.
