Join us every Monday for our Rookies Bridge Club!
From 1:30pm-3:30pm one of our rooms transforms into the world of Bridge, this is a chance for players to come together in a friendly, social setting to enjoy a few hours of Bridge and practice their skills on a regular basis.
Please note this is for those students who have played Bridge before.
Registration & Attendance
Players must enrol in advance to secure a spot. Walk-ins are only allowed if there is an available seat
If you are unable to attend, please notify the college as soon as possible so others can take your place
Game Setup & Rotation
Tables will be assigned based on attendance. Depending on numbers, some players may need to rotate in.
Etiquette & Conduct
Be courteous and patient. Bridge is a game of strategy and fun - let’s keep it enjoyable for all.
Respect other players - no peeking at tiles, giving hints, or rushing others to play
Disputes should be handled calmly. If needed, an HKCC staff member will mediate.
Refreshments & Cleanliness
Players are welcome to bring snacks and drinks but must keep the playing area tidy.
Please clean up after yourself before leaving.
If you use coffee cups or utensils from the kitchen please ensure they are washed, dried, and put away in their proper cupboard
Club Fees & Contributions
Players who have booked but not paid for the session must settle their invoice upon arrival at the college.

About your tutor
Susan Wade is our resident HKCC Bridge Instructor and will be facilitating the club and welcomes all players. She Bridge player with over 25 years’ experience, having learnt from a State Pairs Champion. She has achieved Regional Master Level and enjoys playing regularly at several local clubs.
Susan has a Master's Degree in Adult Education and is committed to creating a learning environment for potential bridge players where they can understand and learn the basics of contract bridge in a friendly and supportive environment.
