Drawing

This 8-week Drawing course is designed for adult learners of all skill levels, including complete beginners and those with some prior experience. Returning students will receive extension work tailored to their abilities, supporting continued artistic growth and providing new challenges.

Each class runs as a 3-hour block of art and drawing practice, giving students the time and space to immerse themselves deeply in both skill-building and creative exploration. While the focus is on developing strong drawing foundations, the course emphasises that drawing skills should not limit ideas or imagination. Instead, students are encouraged to develop their creative and artistic voice, using drawing as a tool for expression rather than restriction.

In addition to hands-on practice, each week will include robust discussions on artists, artworks, and techniques, inspiring students to reflect on different approaches and broaden their understanding of art.

This course welcomes a diverse student body, offering a supportive and inclusive environment to explore and grow as an artist.
