Stretch, Relax and Meditate

This class will return in Term 1 2025.

Discover the profound connection between deeper breathing and calmer mind as you learn practical techniques to cultivate mindfulness and enhance awareness of overall well-being. Through guided sessions, explore the various practices of applying gentle stretches working with the breath to slowly release tension throughout the entire body.  Cecilia Lim is a yoga teacher who will support your journey to easing your mind and body into a state of rest and relaxation after a long day.

Important information

Please consult your doctor before enrolling, especially if you have pre-existing back or neck problems or medical conditions.

What you will need

A yoga mat, water bottle, a towel or blanket for covering your body during relaxation. You may want a low cushion for support under head and for sitting. You have the option to do class on a chair in a seated position.  Please wear comfortable clothing.

Heejung Cecilia Lim is a fitness and well-being professional with over a decade of experience, establishing her career with Fitness First, Fernwood Fitness and Goodlife. She is a qualified well-being teacher with InYoga 200hours Yoga certificate and Nature Care College Reiki Master certificate.
