How To Grow A Sensory Garden
Join our 8-week program to get you out into the fresh air to learn and plant together and see our sensory garden grow.
Sensory gardens are planned to excite the senses through aroma, colours, shapes, textures, taste, and sound. This is a great program that will see you together with other participants out into the fresh air, rain, or shine, to work collaboratively to learn, plant and see the sensory garden grow.
You will work collaboratively with others to revitalise our plot: you will learn to design our new garden, plan the layout, and learn about how to grow your own sensory garden. Plastic pots will be provided for you to take home cuttings and start experimenting yourself.
The Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Community Garden is located at the Edgeworth David Community Garden in Hornsby.
We are proudly delivering projects for the Peer Support and Capacity Building (PSCB) grant for the NDIS.
There is no cost to enrol.
